We later learn more about John Piper's corrupt person from the New York Times: "The Premier's press adviser, John Piper, 49, a former executive with the giant public relations firm, Hill & Knowlton, quit after trying to discredit a woman who was charging sexual misconduct by a former Cabinet minister. Mr. Piper had offered to leak the woman's criminal record to a reporter from The Toronto Sun."
